• Participate in the programme and the event
There have been arts workshops with groups and performance rehearsals.
The main way to get involved now is to -- come to the event on Saturday!
There will be many activities to try yourself and with friends or family, such as: drawing, playing games, drumming, dancing, music, making items for the carnival parade, watching pupets, listening to a wide variety of sorts and sizes of music performances, enjoying food and entertainment.
The Carnival Village Volunteer Team will be vital to the event. We need an amazing army of volunteers to help throughout the day and assist the team wherever needed! As a volunteer you will be will assigned to an area within the Carnival Village site. To ensure we place you an area which best suits your skills and interests please make sure to highlight this in the registration form. General duties include assisting the public with queries they have, helping with workshops and carnival games, carrying out visitor surveys and assisting artists where needed. As a volunteer you will be provided with a Carnival t-shirt! So if you are interested in volunteering and becoming part of our team please click the link to our > online volunteer form.
