The Beat Carnival will be performing at New Lodge Arts' fourth North Belfast Lantern Parade. We've been long-time supporters of their community parades and are delighted to be back with them again this year for an event which promises to be bigger and more magical than ever.

Our percussion band Beatndrum will also be performing from 6pm to 8pm, playing some of the music from the spectacular Urban Ballet performance that wowed audiences on Culture Night Belfast 2013, as well as some drum 'n' bass and samba reggae.

Come and get your groove on with us during this magical evening of fun and fireworks - and look out for some of our 'Big Head' carnival characters mingling with the crowds!

If you haven't already made your lantern to take part in the parade, New Lodge Arts are inviting you to come along to the Waterworks Park, Cavehill Road entrance (beside the children's playground) on Saturday 26th October, 12noon-3pm.

This is a free but ticketed event - for more information please contact the Ashton Centre, 5 Churchhill Street, on 028 9074 2255 or Greater Whitewell Community Surgery, 878 Shore Road, on 028 9085 9911.
