Ever wanted to make some noise and be part of a carnival street band?
We are looking for budding percussionists to join a free 5-week training programme where you’ll learn the rhythms, energy and performance skills of carnival drumming.
Open to all ages*, this is perfect for beginners or anyone who fancies trying something new. No experience needed – just come along, pick up a drum and get stuck in.
Over 5 weeks you’ll learn how to play together as a band, build your confidence and meet others who enjoy music, creativity and a bit of craic along the way.
By the end of the programme, the group will be ready to take to the streets and share the sound of carnival.
*Children (16 years and under) must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian for the duration of the workshops/ events.
