Accessibility

our programmes

At Beat Carnival we are committed to creating programmes that are as accessible as possible. We aim to ensure that everyone who interacts with us has a positive experience.

If we can make your experience more accessible, please let us know and we will try our best to arrange it.

our location

The Beat Carnival Centre is located at 11-47 Boyd Street. The centre operates by appointment or by scheduled programme, and is not generally open to the public.

Our large blue building has a main entrance on Boyd Street (pictured below). We have a buzzer beside the door to gain entry. There is a step at the main entrance.

Beat Carnival does not have a car park. In some cases we can arrange a parking space or drop-off point at the front of the building. There is nearby on-street parking on the Shankill Road. The closest paid car parks are on Townsend Street and CastleCourt Shopping Centre.

additional information

  • A wheelchair accessible entrance is located at the back of the building on Gardiner Street (pictured below).
  • There is an Accessible Toilet on the ground floor, close to the accessible entrance. Otherwise, there are toilets located on the first floor.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • We have a quiet space available upon request.
  • Ear defenders are available upon request.
  • There is not usually music playing in the Beat Carnival Centre. If sound is a concern we can arrange a quiet visit.
  • We have a Social Story that tells you what to expect when visiting Beat Carnival Centre, let us know if you would like a copy.
