Beat Carnival marks three decades of inspiring Creativity, Collaboration and Celebration in the heart of Northern Ireland.
We invite you to join this special occasion in our week-long carnival arts festival, BEAT 30. Full programme details to follow.
We are delighted to now announce the festival finalé: ELECTRO CARNIVAL. Scored by artist-composer Katie Richardson, performed along with a carnival supergroup, the electrifying explosion of sound and rhythm premieres at The MAC on September 30th. Community Music has been the heartbeat of our Carnival programming; it’s where it all began, with our very first parade featuring 100 samba drummers (and Brazil’s most famous carnival band!) making Beat’s big bang that would reverberate through the years.
