Lord Mayor of Belfast, Nichola Mallon makes a visit to Beat Carnival Centre to see, first hand, work being undertaken by the artists. It is production time at the Carnival Centre for the Belfast St Patrick’s Day Carnival Parade, which will set off from City Hall at 12noon on 17th March. Beat creates the festive Carnival Parade for Belfast City Council. This year, in keeping with tradition, Saint Patrick will battle a giant snake, writhing above the audience’s heads as it moves through the streets. Join St Patrick, the snake, floats, street performers, musicians and dancers – and support a Belfast celebration for all, with people of all ages and from all parts getting together on St Patrick’s Day.
Belfast St Patrick’s Day Carnival Parade will assemble at City Hall at 12noon and parade through the city centre to Custom House Square, where there will be an open-air music concert organised by Belfast City Council from 1pm to 3pm.
