BELFAST MEETS BRAZIL – BEAT CARNIVAL MUSIC
We invite you to join us for a vibrant night of craic and alegria with music traditionally performed in informal social settings of Brazil and Belfast.
Lively rhythms from BEATnDRUM samba musicians’ roda de samba / samba circle and seasoned members of the Irish traditional music scene ‘Lonesome George’ assembled by Joe Campbell-McCardle and Myles McCormack, quicken the heartbeat that is the sound of Belfast. Separate Belfast and Brazil sessions – and all together will blend Belfast and Brazil in a unique fusion set.

We invite you to join us for a magical afternoon in the place where carnivals are made. Step into Beat Carnival Centre where there will be fun for everyone: carnival arts, drumming, dance, storytelling and carnival tours.
No ticket needed- just come on by!
Beat Carnival Centre is at 11-47 Boyd Street, Belfast BT13 2GU. This is a residential street, please do not park in front of neigghbours’ houses. There is some parking space at front / back of the Carnival Centre, on Peter’s Hill or in nearby city centre car parks. Beat Carnival is just across the road (Millfield) from Castlecourt shopping centre.
